Weight Watchers plunges 13% after posting mixed third-quarter earnings

Shares of WW, formerly Weight Watchers, plunged 15% after the company posted mixed third-quarter results.

Here’s what the company reported compared with what Wall Street was expecting, based on a survey of analysts by Refinitiv:

  • Earnings per share: 68 cents per share vs. 66 cents per share expected
  • Revenue: $348.6 million vs. $353 million expected
